Who We Are

Hi, I'm Robert De Pinto.

I've spent a lifetime looking for answers, have lived and worked all over the world, seen and done a few things. Failed a lot. But always curious to understand exactly why, because deep down, I believed there was an answer and life was not just some random crazy mess.

As part of this ongoing quest, and out of curiosity, in 2024 I began to read The Holy Bible with a group of Christians who have walked that path for decades.

Reading The Gospels (the words and works of Jesus) with my own eyes was enlightening. After hundreds of hours of conversation and debate, an idea was sparked that the words of Jesus are all we need and that everything else is a distraction.

Then another idea appeared—to separate the words of Jesus into its own dedicated book— which makes it more accessible and helps people focus on the core teachings that can set them free.

Hi, I am James

I was not raised in a Christian family, and many of the things I learned early in life were not good for me. I quickly learned to lie, cheat, steal, and chase whatever pleasures I could find. The world felt like a dog-eat-dog place, and I believed I had to compete to survive.

Yet somewhere deep inside, I sensed that something about this way of living was wrong. Still, it was all I knew.

Then, when I was twenty-eight years old, something unexpected happened. God spoke to my heart and urged me to look into the life and teachings of Jesus.

What made this unusual was that I was not in crisis. I was not “down on my luck” or struggling to survive. In fact, I had a good job, a comfortable home, a nice car, and good health. From the outside, life looked successful.

But the quiet call to seek Jesus was so strong that I began exploring the Christian faith.

Almost immediately, my life began to change.

Over the next forty-eight years, my life moved in a completely different direction. That does not mean the path has been easy. Like many people, I sometimes reach a mountaintop in my faith only to wander away again. Yet God has been faithful through all of it. When I stray, life eventually reminds me how much I need Him, and when I return, He welcomes me again.

During these years I have served in various churches, read many books, and studied other religions. Through this journey I have come to believe that the heart of the Christian faith is far simpler than we sometimes make it.

Everything comes back to the teachings of Jesus.

When we truly listen to what He said and begin to live it, our relationship with God becomes real and personal. Many other voices and traditions can sometimes distract from that simple message.

For me, faith became clearer when I focused directly on what Jesus taught about trusting God, loving others, and sharing the good news of God’s kingdom.

I believe each person must explore this for themselves. No human being can open another person’s eyes to spiritual truth. Only God can do that.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why create a separate book? Can't we just read The Holy Bible?

"I will only speak for myself here. It is my belief, that the words of Jesus, if embraced and lived, contain everything we need to get free. Free from the lies, the mystery, and the suffering. We can find inner peace that lasts, and true meaning in life. Thus, everything else is a distraction. So the question then becomes, why be distracted?

Most Bibles have approximately 780,000 words, of which 80,000 are the Gospels. Thus, the 700,000 words that are not the Gospels, are a distraction. They create more confusion than clarity.

So separating the words of Jesus into a smaller, more focused book, I feel can help people focus and get free from suffering. But each person must do what they feel is right for themselves."

Is this a church or ministry?

No. We are simply here to discuss the words of Jesus with the goal to increase understanding, and how each individual can find an end to suffering and a more empowered and purposeful life through those words. Through their direct relationship with God.

We are not affiliated with any church, ministry or religious organization.

What makes you the experts?

"I don't believe in experts when it comes to you finding your own personal relationship with God. People have perspectives and experience(s) to share, and those may or may not be valuable to you. We may debate and discuss ideas, experiences and perspectives, all with the goal of developing everyones understanding.

To me any contributor, collaborator, or affiliate on this site, is not an expert, they just have perspectives that might help you—but you must decide. You are responsible for your life, your actions and your relationship to God."

Do you take donations? or money?

No we don't take donations nor do we ask for donations. We operate as a business. We offer (sell) products and services that people get value from. If they want that value, they purchase those products, if they don't desire the value we offer, they don't buy the product or service. Simple and clean.

Are you "for or against' any religious or political group?

As an organization no. We are focused on our mission to get people reading and understanding the words of Jesus, and how that translates to improving their own life, and the lives of the people around them.

We believe each individual must use critical thinking, reflection, and deeply understand the issues of the day as best they can, and have a direct relationship with God for guidance in daily decisions and actions.

Following from this, individuals in our organization, sub-contractors, or guests on this platform and in our audience, have their own understanding and points of view on these teachings and the world around them. Each person is responsible for their own actions, decisions and outcomes in life.

What is success?

"If people come to this site to find information, insight and understanding, and they get it in a way that they do not need this site or anyone on it, because have the understanding to grow their own direct relationship with God— then that is success. To put it more simply, success is when you don't need this site or any intermediary anymore, you have found the insight to keep going independently.

Where did the content of this book come from?

We are using The Gospels from early Greek text that is available for use via, the World English Bible (WEB). We have made formatting edits, so for clarity this is not the WEB.

Did you change the original text (from the World English Bible)?

We have edited formatting and highlight the words of Jesus in Red Letter text. So for clarity, this edition is technically not the World English Bible.

Can we even trust the source material?

There have been hundreds of translations of scriptures over the centuries, and almost certainly words and phrases have been changed, added and or removed.

It is impossible to claim that any one text anywhere, has not be altered in some way, which is why we encourage discussion, individual reflection and personal understanding (how someone lives), and individual responsibility to find and live the truth.
